Coupang·Software Engineer

Coupang Software Engineer interview experience

Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed at Coupang for a principal position and the process stretched out into a full loop with seven rounds of interviews.

The biggest thing I remember was the sheer number of steps—each round felt like it was adding another layer to the evaluation, until I was essentially through a long, multi-interviewer gauntlet. Even though the specifics of what each round covered weren’t broken down, the pace and length of the loop made it feel like a serious, thorough process. I didn’t come away with the role, but the overall experience felt comprehensive and clearly structured around multiple rounds.
