Coupa Software Inc Software Engineer interview experience

After I finished that, the technical interview shifted into more design and data-structure thinking.

I was asked to design a database for a given scenario based on something I’d worked on before. Then the discussion moved into how I would apply queues and stacks, which made it feel like they were testing whether I understood the right structures for the right problem, not just whether I could implement.

Overall the difficulty felt difficult, and I didn’t end up with an offer. What stood out was how quickly they moved from coding practice into system-oriented reasoning.
