Condé Nast Software Engineer interview experience

I went through multiple rounds that included phone and Zoom, plus edit tests. Across the whole sequence, I spoke with more than nine people total, which made it feel like a broad evaluation rather than a quick decision.

What surprised me was how long everything took between rounds. It wasn’t an efficient cadence, and after many months of the prolonged process, recruiters were brought in as part of the later stages. In the end I didn’t get an offer, but the experience stood out mainly because of the sheer number of people and the long gaps between steps.
