Commvault Software Engineer interview experience

Got offer

Medium

Positive

My process started with a Python OA coding round that had two medium questions.

I submitted my solutions and then waited, because the next step was a short follow-up call rather than another full assessment.

About a week later I had a one-hour phone interview. The interviewer focused on basic Python knowledge and walked through/reviewed the coding question I had done in the OA round. It felt very much like a verification step—less about elaborate new problems and more about making sure I understood the code I wrote and the fundamentals behind it.

Overall it ended up being a quick path compared to the longer multi-round tracks I’d heard about, and I did get an offer.
