I joined a Zoom-based interview that leaned heavily into interpersonal questions, and it took about 45 minutes to complete.

The interviewer was pleasant and thorough, and I appreciated the patience—they took their time and followed up in a way that made the conversation feel deliberate.

Even so, some of the questions felt genuinely bizarre to me, which threw me off more than the difficulty level did. The overall experience wasn’t bad, but the content of the questions made it hard to predict what they were trying to measure. I didn’t end up with an offer, and my honest take afterward was that while the process was respectful, the weirdness of a few prompts made it a harder read than typical behavioral interviews.
