My experience with the take-home style assessment was rough because the coding environment failed mid-process; it was very difficult.

Take-home assessment (CodeSignal IDE issue) — The online IDE didn’t work properly, and unit tests stopped behaving as expected. I got through the first part with green unit tests, then hit failures when implementing additional required functionality and debugging through a Node REPL/imported classes. Outcome: I didn’t succeed; the technical issues with the platform made the evaluation feel unfair.
