Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through a medium, multi-round loop over two days that combined CodeSignal coding, system design, and a deep domain project explanation.

Technical execution — I solved a backpack-style problem plus a DAG follow-up, both on CodeSignal.
Behavioral (manager) — I discussed past projects and what I’d learned from my experiences.
System design — I designed a feature for the Coinbase Explore page, discussing API layers and how to aggregate data.
Domain deep dive — I explained a project in detail, including data flow and key technical components. Outcome: No offer; the overall lesson was that pairing strong engineering detail with clear communication across design and deep dives mattered.
