I interviewed for a Software Engineer role at Coinbase with an overall average difficulty and a compact timeline.

Coding round — a one-hour algorithm-focused question with follow-ups.
Recruiter call — after passing the coding round, a recruiter call was used to communicate the offer decision. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer in the described flow (the round was framed as manageable, but the process still required the coding pass)—my takeaway is that performance on the single algorithm round likely drove everything.
