I went through a React-focused interview where the technical questions centered on implementing UI correctly from scratch, paired with project deep-dives and behavioral questions.

Behavioral — I talked through past projects, specific challenges, and trade-offs.
Technical: React component build — I built a dropdown component from scratch in React and covered the reasoning behind the approach.
Additional deeper dives — I expanded on each past project with more granular follow-up. Outcome: I didn’t get selected; the process rewarded practical front-end implementation and clarity.
