My interviews skewed toward deep behavioral and thorough question-asking, with the hiring manager digging into complex projects and my technical details.

Hiring manager / HR-style deep dive — I faced behavior questions focused on the most complex project I’d done, and the interviewer followed up repeatedly to get technical specifics.
Manager/technical interview (thorough questioning) — I was also in an interview where the interviewer was very thorough and the questions matched the craft required. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer, and the takeaway was that preparation for detailed, technically honest project walkthroughs mattered.
