New Orleans, LAPosted Jul 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through an early-stage flow that combined recruiter outreach with CodeSignal/personalizability checks, then moved toward live coding interviews, but I ultimately didn’t get selected.

Recruiter screen — A very conversational call with lots of time for my questions; it emphasized Coinbase’s mission around onboarding users on-chain.
Pre-screen assessments — I completed a CodeSignal coding assessment and a personality/cultural test.
Live coding interviews — I had two live coding interviews: one LeetCode-style and another more oriented around OOP, using the language of my choice.
(Variation) Additional technical/motivational interviews — In another similar flow, there were three later interview rounds after the assessment.
**Communication issues
