I had a Coinbase process that started with a CodeSignal-style practical coding task, then moved into multiple technical rounds that emphasized building work through multiple prompts, plus system/design and behavioral evaluation.

Online assessment (CodeSignal) — I fixed bugs and added features to an existing app.
Technical: React/component work — multiple rounds of React pair programming and component design.
System design — I was asked to do broader architecture-style discussion focused on how I’d design and reason about solutions.
Behavioral / hiring manager — a final behavioral round where I needed to come prepared with STAR-style examples. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, but the experience felt focused on real engineering execution and communication of trade-offs.
