I went through a more “assessment-driven” Coinbase process with two coding/culture OAs and then multiple interviews, and it felt fair but I still didn’t receive an offer.

Recruiter screen — A quick call to confirm fit and alignment on what the role would involve.
OA (technical + culture/aptitude) — I completed an aptitude/culture fit portion and a CodeSignal-style technical round.
On-site / final set of interviews — I did a bundle of interviews including technical problem-solving (often LeetCode-medium-like) plus managerial and domain-style conversations.
(Variation) Take-home with staged levels — In one path, the take-home had multiple dependent levels, where I couldn’t proceed without finishing the prior step. Outcome: No offer;
