Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for Coinbase and experienced an unusually assessment-heavy flow with AI-based online steps, then multiple live video technical rounds, over several days.

Online assessments (OA) — I went through an OA that included an AI recruiter/chat, cognitive/pattern-style testing (GRE-like vocabulary and reasoning in one case), plus a personality/cultural fit section.
AI coding inside OA — I had an AI-assisted coding task like a Flappy Bird “jump boundary” function, where passing a large fraction of tests was the goal.
Video round: coding + discussion — I faced a constrained coding question (one involved a food delivery scenario), followed by a conversation about extensions.
Video round: AI coding / debugging — Another round
