I had a very short, three-step interview that was surprisingly easy for me technically and left me confused about the difficulty.

Round 1 — Experience-based questions — Questions above my stated experience level.
Round 2 — Day-to-day developer questions — Similar style, but more focused on practical daily work.
Round 3 — API/task interview — I was asked to call an API and return a value; I expected something like a hard coding problem but it didn’t match that. Outcome: I didn’t get selected; the technical bar felt lower than I prepared for.
