Cognizant Software Engineer interview experience

There wasn’t a full coding interview in the way I expected—most of what I discussed was simple client-style coding tasks like reversing a string, an anagram check, implementing a linked list, and writing a basic SQL query for a client scenario.

The setting felt light and straightforward, and for associates it stayed simple rather than competitive. I received an offer, and I remember thinking that it was more about comfort with fundamentals than proving mastery under intense pressure.
