After applying, I was sent a coding-related task without much context about the company.

They didn’t really introduce themselves or explain what they were looking for, so I ended up grinding through what felt like random LeetCode-style problems just to complete a requirement.

I remember being irritated by how much time I was asked to spend before I got any real chance to talk to someone about the role. When I tried to request an interview and discuss things early on, the only reply was a short, generic message saying they wouldn’t move forward.

Overall, it felt like time was treated as disposable—like I was being asked to do work for free while the company didn’t show much
