CodeSignal Software Engineer interview experience

Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

For the Uber SDE 2 loop, I first completed a CodeSignal assessment and then progressed into interviews.

The next part of the process included a DSA-focused round, and overall it felt more like a classic data structures and algorithms evaluation than anything loosely related.

I also remember asking about the structure of the CodeSignal round—specifically how many questions it had for that Uber SDE 2 track—because I wanted a sense of what kind of time pressure I was walking into. After the assessment, the transition to the DSA round made the intent pretty clear, and I felt the flow was aligned with that theme.

By the end, the experience felt fairly coherent: CodeSignal as a measurable first
