My first step was basically a quick skills questionnaire to understand where I was strongest and how comfortable I was across different areas.

The messaging was that they’d get back to me, and if they didn’t, I could reach out for more information. After that, I completed a test that didn’t feel too difficult.

Even so, the process stalled completely. No one contacted me with results or feedback, and when I tried to follow up, they didn’t respond. When I reached out to a recruiter I found on LinkedIn, the exchange wasn’t friendly, and it felt dismissive rather than helpful. I didn’t receive an offer, and what bothered me most was the silence afterward—like my time was taken but there wasn’t any real closure to the pipeline.
