The process I went through was pretty short and mechanical.

It started with a phone screen, then I had a live coding interview, and after that came a system design interview.

I ultimately got rejected via automated feedback with no specific reasoning—just that they were moving forward with someone else at that stage. There wasn’t much clarity, but the timeline was quick enough that it didn’t drag out.

I didn’t get an offer, and the main thing I took away was how little explanation came with the decision. The interviews themselves were structured, but the rejection felt abrupt and impersonal at the end.
