The sequence I went through started with a phone screen, then an online assessment, and then a technical interview.

One thing that caught me off guard was that I was asked the classic strengths-and-weaknesses prompt during that technical flow.

The coding interview ended up being dominated by hard dynamic programming problems at a LeetCode level, and the overall difficulty felt extremely high. I didn’t get hints from the interviewer either, so I had to rely on my own reasoning without much scaffolding. I left the call knowing I’d struggled more than I expected, and that matched the eventual rejection.
