Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My first conversation was short and focused—about 30 minutes.

I talked through my resume, and then I answered a single technical question tied to optimization problems. It didn’t feel like a wide-ranging assessment, more like a quick check that I could apply quantitative thinking in a concrete way.

The whole thing ended without any obvious follow-up questions or indication of difficulty beyond that one problem. I walked away feeling like I’d done what was asked, but the limited scope made it hard to read what mattered most, and I didn’t end up with an offer.
