My first part started with C++ trivia, where I got asked about the kind of C++ version I used and even some features related to internal implementations.

The interviewer listened carefully and we had a real back-and-forth discussion, which made the trivia feel more like an actual technical conversation than a rapid checklist.

Then I moved into a coding question that required quick decisions about which data structure fit best, taking time and space complexity into account. I had to think on the fly while also explaining the tradeoffs.

I didn’t get an offer from the process. Still, the interview itself felt fair and thoughtful, and it rewarded my ability to reason about performance, not just write working code.
