I went through a tough set of interviews where the technical focus was classic probability-style reasoning: expected value and confidence interval questions showed up directly, and the problems had the feel of “coin and dice” training but at a more analytical level.

A behavioral segment was also included, but it was more of a quick run-through of my resume and past internships than a deep dive into my story.

One interview also included a market-making style estimation question that was similar in spirit to a Fermi-type prompt, followed by additional probability questions and follow-ups. I thought I was answering solidly, but I felt like my pace may have been off—too fast compared with what they seemed to want—so even when I had the right direction, it was hard to land cleanly.
