After applying, I went through a phone screen that leaned heavily into probability and brainteasers, and I also ended up talking with people from the team who would be interviewing me.

That made the process feel fast-moving, and the questions already had a “market-maker” vibe.

A short while later I moved on to the onsite/superday style set of interviews. I spent time on the kinds of EV and probability questions that get tied directly to trading reasoning, and I also saw market-making game formats where you’re basically asked to think through pricing and uncertainty. I talked with about five people total, and the overall tone was decent—interviewers were smart and generally engaged, even though the difficulty was clearly high.
