I applied through Cisco’s website and the process started with an online assessment soon after.

It was pretty OA-style, with a small set of programming questions that leaned easy to medium, and I managed to pass all of them. The timing felt straightforward at first, and I expected that would translate into the next step.

After that, I didn’t get far. Even though I cleared the test cases, I didn’t move forward in the hiring process. Overall it felt like a quick filter: complete the assessment, wait for the response, and if it doesn’t go your way, that’s where it ends. Looking back, the hardest part was mostly the uncertainty and the wait, not the questions themselves.
