Ottawa, ONPosted Nov 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed in Ottawa, and the process was two interviews with a similar structure both times: a behavioral section followed by a technical part.

The behavioral questions covered past experiences and also referenced my CV to understand my background.

For the technical portion, they focused on low-level C knowledge, including memory and signal handlers, and then they gave a problem involving reversing a linked list. It felt like a fundamentals check rather than a system-design discussion.

The difficulty was average, and the experience felt organized and consistent across both rounds. I didn’t end up with an offer, and the reflection I had was that the role clearly prioritized concrete programming fundamentals over broader engineering
