My process was thorough and moved through two main interview experiences: a deep technical conversation based on my background and expertise, followed by a manager-focused discussion on higher-level topics.

After those two interviews, I was given an offer and accepted.

What surprised me was that earlier Cisco attempts I’d had followed a similar structure—the same overall shape of technical depth first, then a higher-level manager discussion—just with different interviewers.

Reflecting on it now, the best part was how coherent the sequence felt. I accepted the offer after the technical and managerial stages, and overall it aligned with what I expected from the company based on my prior experience there.
