My process felt typical on paper—phone screen, then a coding assessment, then another phone interview, and finally an on-site.

The on-site was the real gauntlet: back-to-back sessions with multiple team members. It was hours of conversation where I had to cover the usual personal and HR-style questions, and also spend a lot of time on technical work like whiteboard algorithms and system design.

Everyone I spoke with during the interviews was friendly and professional, and it honestly matched the solid company image I had. Right after completing the interviews, I felt like everything went well, so the wait afterward was tough. Unfortunately, I wasn’t selected, but the way I found out was the most jarring part.
