I ran into a mismatch between what was advertised and what happened in the interview, making the process frustrating rather than purely difficult.

Scheduling / job description alignment — I joined expecting full-stack/design/OOP/unit-testing coverage based on the role description.
Coding-first execution — Instead, the interview started with a coding question and ended quickly without covering the promised areas.
Role/stack mismatch — In another similar experience, I discovered at the end that I was interviewed for a different technical stack than the one I applied for. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; the takeaway was to confirm scope and stack expectations before the technical rounds begin.
