I went through a two-stage technical screen that started with an optimized coding requirement and then moved into class/interface design.

Round 1 (coding with constraints) — I wrote a function to find duplicates in an array and return counts, aiming for better than n log n time and log n space; I tried multiple solutions as they didn’t match expectations.
Round 2 (real-time problem + design) — I designed classes/interfaces and explained how components would interact.
Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; the process felt like it could end after round two, with frequent rejections even after passing earlier hurdles.
