CIBC Business Analyst interview experience

The questions were fairly basic, and the HR person I spoke with felt very professional throughout.

After the screen, everything stayed “standard”—not overly difficult from a question standpoint—but there was a clear sense that the position was competitive. I remember leaving the call thinking I’d done what I could, but also that many other people were likely in the same funnel.

I didn’t end up with an offer. The reflection I took with me was less about a specific mistake and more about how tight the competition felt, especially after a clean, professional first conversation.
