My experience started with a recruiter reaching out and setting up interviews that looked normal on paper—video interview first, then a face-to-face with a team leader.

The video portion was standard and easy, but the follow-through immediately felt messy. I had to reschedule because the in-person meeting was booked at the wrong location for me, and when I finally did meet the team lead, the vibe was irritated and disengaged. He barely asked questions and the interview barely lasted half an hour. Even after I was told I’d hear something by the end of the day, I didn’t.
