CDK Global Software Engineer interview experience

I had an onsite interview a month or two after applying, and it was mainly behavioral. The session wasn’t long—about twenty minutes—with a hiring manager and a mentor.

I expected more technical depth, but the whole conversation centered on how I think and how I present my experience rather than deep dives into specific engineering topics. It felt like a straightforward culture-and-fit conversation.

I left the interview feeling that they were more interested in my fit than in testing me on the spot, and I got an offer.
