At that stage, the interview format leaned into field-relevant questions and then moved into STAR-based responses to assess cultural fit, teamwork, and problem-solving.

They focused on the way I structured my answers—starting from the situation, moving through the task, explaining the actions I took, and then tying it to results.

Even though the specific topics weren’t itemized in my account, the intent was clear: they weren’t only trying to see if I could solve problems, but also whether I could explain decisions in a way that showed collaboration and adaptability. The interview difficulty was listed as average, and it ultimately didn’t turn into an offer for me. What I remember most was how strongly the STAR method was enforced as a lens for evaluation.
