My process kicked off with outreach from a recruiter and then quickly moved into a pre-screen coding challenge on HackerRank.

After that, I had two phone interviews with lead engineers and then a final on-site interview.

What was surprising is that I wasn’t asked to solve coding problems during some of the later interviews, and I didn’t get a lot of computer-science-style questioning either. Instead, it leaned more toward discussing topics without the typical “solve something live” structure.

It ended without an offer for me, and the overall impression was mixed. Separately, I also experienced a much more disorganized process elsewhere during that same period—panel interviews with people missing or running late
