Capital One Data Analyst interview experience

Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My only concrete checkpoint was that I reached the point where I was preparing for the final round case study interviews for a Data Analyst role.

At that stage, it wasn’t about coding anymore—it was about how the case study interviews were expected to run and what kinds of thinking the final round would reward.

I didn’t have details on the exact questions I faced, but I was definitely geared up for that last hurdle and trying to make sense of what case study performance would look like at the finish. I didn’t end up with an offer as far as I recorded, and the main feeling left behind was that the final round case study was the decisive piece—whatever happened after that would likely come down to how I performed in that format.
