Capital One Business Analyst interview experience

I went through an HR screening first, then moved into two rounds of case interviews.

The second part was challenging in a very specific way: one of the case interviewers was rude and the accent made the questions hard to follow.

Because I struggled to understand the prompt cleanly, it made the case feel harder than it probably would have otherwise. The difficulty wasn’t just the math or the business situation—it was clarity and communication, and that threw off my flow.

I didn’t get an offer. Looking back, that interview experience left me feeling like I was fighting the format as much as the content.
