I went through a process that was fairly standard for an engineering role: HR first, then an online technical test, and finally a conversation with the engineering manager about projects and potential clients.

HR interview — I discussed my experience in a calm, straightforward way.
Online technical test (Java-style certification vibe) — I completed an online technical assessment that felt like a certification exam.
Manager interview (projects + clients) — I talked through the projects and possible clients I might work with, plus how those engagements would look. Outcome: I did not receive an offer, but the process felt well-structured.
