Capgemini Engineering Software Engineer interview experience

NoidaPosted Nov 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a Software Engineer role with a tougher, more structured assessment path that included both testing and multiple technical components, all conducted online.

Online test / assessment — a mix of aptitude plus an essay and a game-based assessment; it included a pseudocode-style OA segment.
Communication round — a dedicated conversation round.
Coding round — hands-on coding questions.
Technical + HR — an additional combined round, with further questions spanning cloud/networking alongside HR elements. Outcome: No offer, and I felt the process was genuinely difficult due to the multi-part test and the breadth of technical topics.
