I went through the expected sequence of interviews, but the experience suffered mainly due to delayed follow-up.

Recruiter call — I first spoke with HR.
Manager N+1 interview — I had an interview with the immediate manager.
Manager N+2 interview — I completed a second manager-level discussion.
Post-interview communication — I was told I’d hear back within a week, but updates didn’t arrive even after several weeks. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; the takeaway is to insist on clear timelines after the manager rounds.
