I experienced a larger funnel with multiple evaluations, and while the interviews were manageable, it still didn’t convert into an offer.

Multi-round HR + cultural fit — I covered fit and motivation early, plus role context.
Technical assessment with DSA/CS fundamentals — I had a coding/CS fundamentals assessment with questions that were relatively easy-to-medium.
Additional technical/work-based checks — I handled basic CS topics and work-related questions.
Final selection — The process continued to a final selection stage, but I wasn’t chosen. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; the takeaway is that even “easy” screens can filter out if your foundation isn’t consistently solid.
