I interviewed for a Software Engineer-related position online with multiple short rounds, but the process ended without clear closure.

HR round (1 hour total plus technical rounds) — after the overall HR portion, I went into two technical rounds online.
Technical rounds — two online rounds, each about half an hour.
Joining/formalities — after the HR round, I was asked to fill joining documents, but I never heard back afterward. Outcome: No offer, and the takeaway was that even after paperwork, I got no response or next steps.
