My recruiter screen turned into a technical interview focused heavily on algorithms and coding-style reasoning.

I was asked about time complexity and things like code output, and it didn’t feel restricted to just frontend knowledge. It was essentially a fast way to test fundamentals across topics, even though the role felt like it would be more frontend-oriented.

After I passed that initial technical check, I expected a few more rounds to follow. I didn’t receive an offer, but the experience was straightforward enough that I could tell it was a real technical filter, not just a conversation.
