I interviewed for a Software Engineer role that felt genuinely difficult in certain rounds—either through heavy technical depth or high-pressure evaluation.

Advanced technical single interview (networks) — an interview focused heavily on advanced Cisco networking concepts like VPNs and multiple routing protocols.
Panel interview + short coding — a manager plus multiple engineers questioned me in rotation, then I received a coding assignment with a strict short time window.
Phone screen → coding assessment → in-person with design/pseudocode — after a coding assessment, the onsite included design discussion and pseudocode rather than only standard Q&A.
Program on-screen with unreliable environment — sharing a Java program
