BuyHatke Software Engineer interview experience

The first one was written, with aptitude at a general level plus some data structures and algorithm questions. It felt like they were checking foundations before going deeper.

The second round was technical and more hands-on. The interviewer asked me to write working code for Quick Sort and Dijkstra, which made it clear they wanted correct implementation rather than just explanation.

I didn’t receive an offer. Still, I appreciated that it stayed concrete—sorting and shortest paths—so there was less ambiguity about what “good” meant by the end.
