Bumble Inc. Software Engineer interview experience

That first video meeting was quick—about 15 to 20 minutes.

Next came a longer technical video interview with two senior engineers. We talked technical topics, did coding in PHP and SQL, and also covered theory. It was the most substantial part, lasting roughly 75 to 90 minutes.

The final stage was with the engineering manager, focused on system design. It felt very detailed and very theoretical, around 90 minutes.

I didn’t get an offer. Still, what stood out was the structure: each stage built logically on the last, and the technical depth increased all the way through system design.
