BT Group Software Engineer interview experience

The only real downside was timing: it took close to two months after I applied to receive an interview invite. I didn’t feel rushed, so the wait wasn’t disastrous, but it did slow my momentum.

Once I was finally in the process, the tone around me stayed positive, with clear follow-ups. The overall feel leaned toward well-managed communication rather than intense chaos. Looking back, the hardest part for me wasn’t the interviews themselves—it was the long gap between application and getting pulled into the next step, even though things felt better once the process started moving.
