I went through a BT Group process that included a managerial-style evaluation (self-introduction, clarity, and technical reasoning), plus a separate discussion-heavy panel round.

Managerial / face-to-face round — I was assessed on self-introduction, explaining a concept on a board, and things like confidence and clarity of thought, along with technical aspects.
Final panel round — A structured discussion that covered scenarios and included a debate around employee benefits and salary expectations.
System design interview — A design-focused interview where the interviewer constrained answers and demanded specific viewpoints, leaving little room to fully complete explanations.
Outcome: No offer; I learned that presentation and communication style
