The process started with a phone-based first round.

I went through general questions about the project I’d worked on and my day-to-day responsibilities, then the conversation moved into problem-solving.

I answered most of the questions I was asked, so the rejection felt confusing. The lack of clarity stuck with me; I wasn’t sure what I missed or what level of detail they were looking for, and there wasn’t helpful feedback afterward.

In the end I didn’t receive an offer. Honestly, the most frustrating part was not just the outcome, but the feeling that I couldn’t map what happened to concrete expectations.
